Eutopia features a richly pigmented mix of golds, blues, purples and berries that remind me of treasure rooms and Turkish carpets. The 18-color palette features 7 shimmers, 3 marbled, and 8 matte shades. At a budget-friendly $15, you get a lot of bang for your buck. It's not a bright palette, though the purple and one copper shade are attention-getters. This palette speaks more of elegance, quiet wealth, and ancient secrets. It's got mystery.

LOOK ONE: GILDED BERRY

Purple is probably the color that attracts me most (when buying annuals for my garden, I constantly have to tell myself not to buy every single purple flower!) Naturally, I started there. The names of the shades are very hard to see on the palette, so I'm going to include numbers as well. No sense in all of us scrunching our eyes. (Revolution, printing names in purple on a black background is never a good idea.)

For the base color, I opted to go sparklier than usual and chose Enchanted, #18. On the inside corner, I patted on Glamour, #6. It took a couple of layers to build the color up, but happily Revolution shadows tend to layer nicely. On my outer corner, I went for Urbanism, #9, to get that nice deep purple to make the most of the distance between my eyes. I blended those three upward lightly, so they didn't blur much. From the crease to midway to the brow, I used Fiction, #11. It has a hint of pink in it that helped tie everything together.

For my eyeliner, it was Nyx EpicWear in Berry Goth. I've mentioned before that I'm a fan of the EpicWear formula. I feel like it goes on smooth and creamy, and it has such good staying power that multiple makeup wipes are required to get it back off! Fine by me, I have a lot of runny eyeliner in my history and I'm happy to avoid more. I also did the inside lower lid with Nyx EpicWear Metallic Gold, to catch some of the gold in the base color. Two coats of Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extensions, and scene!

LOOK TWO: FLAIR FOR DRAMA

Please forgive the state of my hair, my lovelies, I was outside weeding before I did this look.

I've come to a startling conclusion: I DO NOT LOOK GOOD WITH WINGED SHADOW. I want to. I mean to. I try to. This Gretchen needs to stop trying to make fetch happen. It's not going to happen. I even got the things you stick on your face to make the lines perfect. Pfft. I am throwing in the makeup wipes, my lovelies. I will defy the popular belief that wings will make my round eyes look longer.

I did give it one last go, first, and here it is. I used Dreamer, #1, as my base. It's a charming marbled shadow with berry sparkle. I then tried to wing it (ha!) with Trance, #4. I love the rich, deep blue.I followed that line with the coppery Fiction, #11, in the middle, and the pale gold Idyllic, #10, on the inside. I kept this look simple, just those three colors.

For eyeliner I used Urban Decay's LSD, which coordinated neatly with Trance. Urban Decay's Disco Daydream liquid glitter liner helped pop the look. I feel like the lip color, Revolution Unicorn Story, was instrumental in balancing the colors on my face.

LOOK THREE: BERRY TASTY

It's been a long day, so I'm literally putting this look on, writing it up, and then taking it back off before bedtime. Which is a shame, because I think it's my favorite of the lot.

For my base color I used Grace, #5. I did my inner corner in Enamour, #6. I feel like I was waiting all day to try Bohemian, #3, which I did on my outer corner and up into the crease. In the middle I went for Glimpse, #17. After blending those, I felt like it was too dark above the crease, so I lightened it up from halfway to the brow and above with Zen, #15. I felt like this look wanted heavy black liner and lashes, so I used Maybelline eyeliner in Jet Black. I just got ColourPop's Lux gloss in Peace Lily, part of the Lush Life collection. I love the color and of course the shimmer! It smells a bit like vanilla and has a pleasant, sort of mild, neutral-sweet taste. I expect I will get a lot of use out of this gloss.

Ahhh! So cute! I really love that purple look, and I love the descriptions you used for them. I usually hesitate with glitter shadows because of how hooded my eyes are, but I might have to grab this pallet myself.

And oh gosh, I also don't look great with a winged liner either. I've found my best liner look to be right on my top waterline. I've tried though! Thanks for the in-depth write up!
