Brilliant Gradient Trick

Hello, my lovelies! There's a nifty makeup trick going around to get that perfect gradient eye look. In short: from lashline to mid-way to the brow, apply your colors, starting with darkest on the outside. Then blend.
Super easy, right? Works perfectly, too. Here's mine:

By the way, new camera and new ring light means I have way, way more detail and my colors pop even more than my joints!
For this look, I used the 35D Desert Bouquet palette from Morphe, the Sugar Crystal's palette by Violet Voss, and the ColourPop Misunderstood palette. In order of use:
Outer color: Forest of Thorns from Misunderstood
2nd in: Cactus Fruit from Desert Bouquet
3rd in: Desert Garden from Desert Bouquet
Inner corner: Phoenix Flora from Desert Bouquet
Over the top of the gradient, I used Lollipop from Sugar Crystal's in a shallow curve beneath the brown. I also dabbed a little Precious Cargo from The Mandalorian palette, because I do that a lot.
For eyeliner, I went for the reverse cat's eye with Nyx's EpicWear in Fierce Purple, then did the top lid in Pitch Black. I used Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extentions mascara.
For Lips, MAC's Hey Frenchie was the obvious choice, which I topped with Revolution Beauty's Light Beam Shimmer Bomb gloss. I have so much love for that gloss. I can't even tell you.
What's the best makeup trick you've picked up lately?
Also, big shout out to my friend Diane for introducing me to Glow Up. I binged three seasons in 5 days!!
