Mama got lazy.

I know, I know, where the heck have I BEEN? It's been longer than I even realized, almost a month!

Obsessions, my lovelies. I have been diving deep into my obsession with eyeshadow, including learning how to make my own! Who knows, you may see me with my own eyeshadow line soon. It's fun, and compelling.

Here's my purple and metallic look for welcoming September. To get this eye, start with Matter of Fact from the Truly Madly Deeply palette by ColourPop. I then covered my eyelid with Mercury from the B&H Galaxy Chic palette for a shimmery metallic look.

Next, I went above the crease to halfway up to the brow, using Like A Snack from Morphe's 18H Sweet on Hue palette. It has just a hint of silver sparkle in a light orchid shade. In the crease, I used Cactus Fruit from the Morphe 35D Desert Bouquet palette, and Phoenix Flora from the same palette just beneath the brow. I blended from the crease up to create a gradient.

Back to the eyelid! On just the middle, I patted on some Kaerlighted, from Revolution's We Are Love palette, to highlight the lid. I wanted more sparkle, so I put just a tiny bit of Renegade from Truly Madly Deeply on top of that.

Satisfied with the shadow, I ended up using three Nyx EpicWear eyeliners: gold on my upper lashline, with a line of Pitch Black above it, and Fierce Purple on my lower lashline. I've been having a lot of trouble with migration on my undereye, with all the heat lately, so I am avoiding black on my lower lashline for now. Even my double punch of setting spray and setting powder don't seem to keep that wandering eyeliner in place. What's up with that? Anybody got a great fix tip they want to share?
