Hello, my lovelies! I hope today finds you feeling beautiful. If you just thought, "Ha!", don't worry. I'm here to offer a smidgen of inspiration and a few product reviews. We'll get your mind focused on some fun stuff.

I love shades of rose gold and copper. My wedding ring is rose gold, even. Thank goodness my complexion takes metallics pretty well!

I had a big work meeting today, so this is a look for the office. I don't think I've shared my morning prep with you yet, probably because I don't do a big routine. I just use Philosophy Purity moisturizer on my face and neck. I'm turning 48 soon, and this year I started getting the dreaded waddles on my neck. Go ahead, aging, hit me where it hurts! I'm hoping moisturizing will slow the progression of my slowly drooping skin. As if the eyelid discoloration, graying hair, and the sagging boobs weren't enough!

Under everything, I use Revolution Pore Blur on my chin, cheeks, and nose, then Tatcha The Silk Canvas on my whole face. Remember, a little of that marvelous concoction goes a long way! After that, Maybelline Age Rewind foundation ( though I am open to suggestions for amazing age-hiding foundations!). I am a Tarte ShapeTape girl for concealer. It's a terrific product!

By now, I'm ready for eyes. I put on a light layer of Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion to start. For this look, Sweet Dreams from ColourPop's Truly Madly Deeply palette is my base color.

Here for your consideration is today's team!

I felt the urge for some colorshift eyeshadow (it's a day that ends in Y, I know!) and I reached for Larina Cosmetics Antique shadow, a charming melange of green, copper, and gold. I used that on my entire eyelid, patting on three layers to create lots of depth. Above the crease I used the gorgeous Del Amor from the Nomad Cartegena Magica palette, which is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. I got brave and went for Otros Demenios in the crease and outer eyelid, which blended up very nicely. It's a densely pigmented red brick shade I think would work equally well for work or a night out. On the inner corner, I added a little Ur A Vision from the ColourPop Aura and Out palette, which can probably be best described as a glittery butter color. That brightened up the look and helps create space between the eyes.

After a bit of internal debate between emerald, plum, and burgundy for my eyeliner color, I opted for the CoverGirl burgundy. I also did just the outer third of my eyeliner in One Size's Bodacious Black. I used the same mascara, Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extensions, as usual.

Please forgive my hair, but here's the result:

On my lips, I used Lauren Conrad's Shell and ColourPop's Lux Gloss in Peace Lily.

Since I ran out of setting spray (GAAAAH!), I used Revolution's Translucent Setting Powder instead. It's been working great, especially in this heat.

Have a beautiful day, my lovelies!
